Has anyone experience with these brushes ( like a huge sweeping brush not rotary ones)?
Do they do a good job in the store and also cleaning up the yard?
Is there any difference in makes?

Got a sweepex here with q fit brackets to go on my jcb handler.does a brilliant job sweeping up in grain store and even use it whilst loading grain.works very well on worn concrete floors too.works well outside in mud but it does get blocked but easy to clean.only downside is lots and lots of dust.

OK, so they work well. Was there any reason for the choice of purchase or was it just the local dealer stocked that brand?
Nick, I have a Bema rotary at the moment, I have to hose the floor of the grain store before using it or there is no chance of seeing a thing!

Huge difference in the thickness of bristle
The amount of room between the rows is important also the way in which the bristles are retained is important
I have tried and sold most of the make over last 15 years

Feel ours are strongest on market with a galvanised finish and permanently attached fork sleeve hitch which any quick hitch can attach to

If you need a play with one call please

If it's just dust then they're not that great. There will still be a layer left however many times you sweep it.
However, in the grainstore it's great, it gets right down in the grooves of my drying floor and makes a really good job of sweeping it.
If you've a powerfloated floor then once with the broomate, then get a big wide very soft hand pushed brush for the dust.

Sweepex are very good especially with the side collector brushes they do now, not good with straw, blocks them up too much, better with a rotary for that, sweeps up the grain store and outdoor concrete lovely though, speeds up sweeping the store between lorries no end!

I have found that if you want to brush your farmyard with one choose a day when its p**sing down, they do a great job then plus they dont block up .
Excellent in the grain shed though, with very little dust.
