Maybe controversial but I feel colour, or rather contrasting colour makes a big effect.
In this respect, I don’t particularly care for John Deere’s contrast of green against the yellow rims.

The Fendt green against the red rims ties together much better.
My favourite is The classic Ford Blue, white roof, wings and rims. Fantastic.
I was a bit gutted when nh went blue roof. Them 10 series 7610s super Q are my favourite

Got a drive in a used landini with vario. Was a 7 series 6 pot around 160hp. The tranny seemed very aggressive especially on slowing down. Is there a way to adjust the aggressiveness of this? Also is it the same box as an older style case cvx run with the stepper motor problems?
All info below is based on the new tier V range of X7's.

Acceleration of the transmission can be adjusted, as can the engine droop. Makes it more or less snappy on the throttle. Progression from standstill to 50kmph is seamless even though the transmission runs through 4 mechanical ranges. The tier v series are the first time McCormick have written their own software controlling the engine and transmission rather than using the default software from FPT and ZF. This makes the whole package feel much more refined and synchronised.

The transmission always decelerates quite strongly when you lift off the throttle. Takes a little getting used to but once you do it's great, especially with a heavy trailer and saves a lot of use of the brakes. Especially when coupled with use of the exhaust brake (standard).

Can't comment as to if its the same as in the old Case CVX as I don't know what they used. However we have an X7.440VT with loader out on 10,000hrs and we haven't touched the engine or transmission. Customer swapped out a main brand CVT tractor for it and hasn't looked back. Purchased a slightly larger X7.450VT last year to work alongside it.
