Mine done his about two weeks ago, biggest thing seemed to be that the tractor was all up together. Questions were basic although some were safety related ie what would you do if you’re round baker blocked up, not sure of the relevance of that one to driving on the road. Good luck to him.
Thanks. I’ll pass that on to him. His mate failed the other day for not looking in his mirrors enough so my son is going to wear a baseball cap so the examiner can see him move his head.
Make sure the independents are locked together (don’t run the instructor over on the emergency stop?), don’t pull over on the pavement (I know a lad failed it instantly for that), don’t take the quad trac. I know a lot of testers aren’t that clued up on tractor spec’s but I’m sure there’s a weight limit at 16.
Make sure all the lights work and guards are in place, L plates!
other than that all other road regs apply.
