Need some help confirming what tractor this is.

The seller who had gotten it in a trade, said it was a 62 Super 90.

One of the other forums said it was an 85.

The identification tag on the tractor is not there, however, there is an engine model number tag. (See pictures)
1017244M91 91 which I found on Google showing the engine to be a continental 242 85

There were a couple of Super 90’s in the Skegness area at one time. One was powering a pea viner originally. Think it was sold in an auction of the deceased owner only a year or so ago.
Seem to think T French, the big MF collector in Scotland renovated it, or a very similar one. This was the poor thing prior to the sale.

I doubt that tractor model was seen in the UK.
After researching this after this post, it is indeed an 85 WR LP.

Apparently his was pretty common with a lot of different tractor manufacturers in Texas and Oklahoma because The operating cost was significantly less for propane vs gasoline.

These tractors have two different valves on them, One for the wet side and one for the dry side.
If you are using it less than about 60% power you can run on the dry side of propane versus the wet side.
The tanks have 80% wet/20% vapor in them.
One gallon of wet propane produces 250 gallons of vapor. So if you're using the tractor without a heavy load you literally can run for a long time on the vapor... Or so I've read in different post..

I took it to a propane distributor and had it filled a couple of days ago which was an interesting experience...9 gallons for $32.00.

There is a adaptor hose that have ordered to fill it from one tank to another.
It's an LP ... Propane tractor...:)
