Tractors for wheelchair users

The major issue I see is you get in and drive off leaving your chair behind! what happens if you need to get out of the tractor for what ever reason, (break down, implement issues or adjustment etc etc) or when you come back some arse has moved your chair as they thought it was in the way! or run over it!

Something like a fastrac would have the scope to lift you in the cab then place your chair on the back load bay so you can take it with you?
I'll not need to have chair with me as I'm fit to walk only time i use the wheelchair is for long distances of walking

Was wondering does anyone have any suggestions on what would be the best type of tractor to buy was thinking maybe of a valtra with direct drive are should I be looking at another brand

I know one guy that converted a Fergy 7480 and done it himself I understand as I believe that's what he does for a living but also enjoys agricultural work and I read somewhere about a converted Valtra. Vario's I guess will always make easier converts .
Are you on about me? As I have done my own adaption to a 7480

Thats been my concern also ut didnt want to sound thick in asking. Scratched my head over it for a day or 2 now

Over the last 5 years of driving my tractor I have not really had a problem. I make sure the farmer that I am doing work for sets me up then away I go. If an implement needs adjusting I doubt you would reach from a wheelchair any way.

I went for the 7480 because of the vario gearbox and I also found the door entry into the cab was bigger then the fendt. All I have is a bar that connects to the foot brake. Pull the bar which operates the brakes.

Was thinking of something like this
Hi Fergal, hope you are well. I was just reading your post and wondering did you manage to get your adaptations made to your tractor? I live in Cookstown, just down the road from you and would love to pick your brain about it? Thanks.
