Trading in an Iphone

Last week purchased a new Iphone and took up the offer of Apple’s trade in. £60 was probably a bit less than Ebay suggested, but having had so many issues selling Electronic goods there And claims of not functioning or damaged in transit etc. made me think this was not too bad.
so today, I have a message that they have revised their offer on receipt and it is now £0.00 since it is is missing keys. WTF! At least they offer to return it, but can I be sure it is the same phone as I did a reset before posting?

Always found their trade in prices to be derisory tbh, to the point of being insulting. And I bet you could buy it cheaper elsewhere without the trade in ‘offer’.
