I joined GLAS and have chosen low emission slurry spreading as one of my actions. I have a lot of slurry to spread and am now considering buying a low emission spreader. Which option would be best? trail and shoe or dribble bar? Also any preference on what make I should choose?

For a tanker I would go for trailing shoe. Pumping dribble which would allow you to go wider 9 12 or 24 metres

Trailing shoe is better in longer regrowth than a dribble bar, but with a dribble bar you can go wider for less money which means less tracks across the field.

Trailing shoe every time. You can use them as a dribble bar if you just lift them off the floor slightly if needed.

Get whatever will suit your land best the main wearing part the macerator will be the same on both.there will be negligeable diffrence in grass growth with either but dribble bar is more universal if you grow crop on your farm.flowmetering equipment is fairly essential with either

I'd use a trailing shoe or disc injector if you're always on grass but if going onto arable crops then a dribble bar. Joskin kit is well built and easy to get parts for.
There was a joskin injector for sale in the classifieds on here. 6m wide. Good machine.

Google "bomech", they make very light trailing shoe injectors over 20 meters wide. No experience but they look the business.
If you don't mind secondhand and importing search for "tobroco" injectors in holland. They used to be quite pupular overhere but no longer allowed so should be cheap to obtain. No macerator on them.

They are not as plentifull secondhand as sometime ago, I guess they are exported alot.

How much slurry have you , it would take a lot of slurry to justify a trailing shoe , there are a lot of wearing and perishable parts on these machines , a good contractor would probably be a cheaper option .
