Wondering about that too, cheap boards underneath, same as a cattle float, only thing is the joints between the sheets.

Did that to my last Ifor Williams when the original resin floor started to look sad. The dealer supplied the alu and even cut it to shape and I just put it on top of the old floor and screwed it down to the chassis. Worked well. Use silicon to seal edges and gaps.

I would think Kerung, in the same situation but already replaced once with phenolic resin which has lasted 4 or 5 years.
I think Keruing would pay in long run, I recently ordered some new drag trailers and they specced them with Wisatrans floors, I soon had that changed, knock the surface off that stuff and it’s soon knackered.
