Red Buses are £1.50 a journey anywhere, tubes prices are zoned, average about £2.50 a journey paid with your contactless card. If you get too incapacitated, call an UBER

Tube and a pre-paid Oyster card, just touch it against the barrier at either end of your journey.
Even cheap just dab your contactless debit card on entry and exit tube gates.
Often The Oyster card is set at a certain price and unless your using it to the max often cheaper way we found on recent recently.

As above, Oyster cards are as great as the city itself. :sneaky:??
Had a short break there at the start of the month, even missed showday!!! :wideyed:
Absolutely loved it, defo going back next year. Was told by a London lady we were chatting to, that a £4 oyster day card allows you to travel on buses etc all day. either that or I picked her up wrong.

Tricky when doing a family of 4 - each traveller needs to use different cards as the back-office can't work out the 4 journeys. From the tfl website :
You can pay for someone else's travel with your contactless card or device if they're travelling with you. You need to pay for your own travel with a different card or device.

I think from memory that she's right. Certainly the standard Oyster card lets you use the buses and the Thames riverboats as well as the tube - great value for easy travel.

Must be something about our locality as most folk love London. It's a brilliant place ??

Depending of the age of the children see above. I’m not sure how you can use the same contactless debit card for four people. Discounted Oyster cards are available for young people.
