Tube and a pre-paid Oyster card, just touch it against the barrier at either end of your journey.

A weekend in London makes for a very nice break. My advice travel around it,do not enter it.
Even cheap just dab your contactless debit card on entry and exit tube gates.Tube and a pre-paid Oyster card, just touch it against the barrier at either end of your journey.
Had a short break there at the start of the month, even missed showday!!!As above, Oyster cards are as great as the city itself. ??
Tricky when doing a family of 4 - each traveller needs to use different cards as the back-office can't work out the 4 journeys. From the tfl website :Even cheap just dab your contactless debit card on entry and exit tube gates.
Often The Oyster card is set at a certain price and unless your using it to the max often cheaper way we found on recent recently.
You can pay for someone else's travel with your contactless card or device if they're travelling with you. You need to pay for your own travel with a different card or device.
You can do that with a credit or debit card now with those magic chip thingys.
I think from memory that she's right. Certainly the standard Oyster card lets you use the buses and the Thames riverboats as well as the tube - great value for easy travel.Had a short break there at the start of the month, even missed showday!!!
Absolutely loved it, defo going back next year. Was told by a London lady we were chatting to, that a £4 oyster day card allows you to travel on buses etc all day. either that or I picked her up wrong.
eh? unlimited trips for £4 a day, but you'd rather pay £1.50 a pop!!!Forget the oyster card, that was yesterday. Any contactless card gives you the same benefits and does not require a holding deposit.
