Got an 11 mth old steer, been inside for 6 weeks now. Yesterday noticed some blood on poo on the floor and he has some bloody poo on his bum. None of the others is affected. He is not straining, doesn't have his tail up, he is well and eating and behaving normally. As well as their own pen, sometimes they get access to a pen at the back of the court. This pen was occupied for a few days in August by a cow and a 5 wk old calf while the calf was treated for coccidiosis.

Should I just keep an eye on this steer or treat him now?
