Expecting a visit from the tree police as a lunatic has reported me for installing a water pipe 45ft from an oak tree.
So it's good bye from me and can you bring me a cake with a file in @YorkshireAndrew @neilo
I'll be in the hi viz vest in B wing visiting area.

The idiot should be forced to pay a fine for wasting time and money.

This is madness. If you are not happy, then very firmly indicate your intentions to do a Freedom of Information request on your file.

Someone once 'shopped' me for removing a dead tree blocking a river culvert. The file showed the name of the person who lodged the complaint and the enormous amount of work generated by both the EA and Natural England in dealing with it, including seven visits from nine different people - one of whom was a retired policeman then working for the EA who was supposed to be gathering evidence for a future prosecution.

In the end I was complimented on my river management. I also invited the original complainant for a farm walk - which he refused to accept. Don't get mad; get even.

What sort of person assumes they know better and reports these things without even having a chat about it?
