Trimble 750 coverage logging

Works on a GFX750, although I have vague memories of having to use a relay once upon a long time ago.

I think you just need to have a switch between two wires and definitely not any power. That would tie in with using a relay, use the power to switch the relay and the relay to activate the logging.
I think it is pin 10 and 11 on the deutsch plug.

Looking for some out of the "box" brain storming today! (I suppose in the box actually) to do with switching on Trimble 750 and Amazone boxes.
I could just get a foot switch to activate coverage logging and Ez Steer activation I think, but why cant I activate both Ez and logging on my Bateman sprayer when I flick the switch to start the sprayer lines? And again with the Amazone when you activate the fert spreader could it activate Ez and logging.
Also dose anyone run a Trimble 750 on RTK on any systems that are not Trimble I think I heard once upon a time some were running of there own base systems that weren't Trimble. (I repeat the same sad old story 70Ha RTK for £525 is Tooooooo much so looking for alternative even to buy my own base station)

The 750 just needs 2 pins bridging to give coverage logging, can’t remember which ones though. I got the data off one of the American forums.
I use a hydraulic pressure switch mounted to the tractor, T’d in just before the QR coupling. If I’m not using the hydraulics, I just set the HMS to pressurise that line anyway to donthe logging. Works well.

A pressure switch on hydraulic line is handy as mentioned before. A relay or a pressure switch connected to center section of a sprayer does the coverage logging also if you don't have a field-iq.
I have made a short hyd extension hose end T-ed it for a pressure switch. Use it with my grain drill and beet planter.

Don’t know the exact make or model but it was similar to this.

From memory mine is 400bar one for safety. Wire it up and adjust the pressure so it triggers when you want.
On the 750 you can set it so coverage is when open or closed, which is handy for different things.

And this was for the hydraulic line.
Before getting a EZ-Boom / Field-IQ and installing an electric valve block to my sprayer I used an adjustable max 10 bar model in the middle section of my at that time manually controlled sprayer to do the coverage logging.

Coverage logging switch in all 4 sections? Why not. Then it will paint the whole swath when ever any section is on.
As this simple coverage logging can not deal with individual sections, having several logging switches side by side is not in my mind necessary. On or two mid sections are enough to give you the information you need. And also the area covered would be closer to truth. In case of spaying a narrow strip only on an outside right or left section you can always use the manual paint button every once in the while - like about 1/4 oh the swath length in your case.

Maybe a simple switch with a spring could be used on a combine. Something like this:

For rapid seed drill I would use my "universal" hydraulic pressure switch extension house.

For some odd reason I prefer cheap solutions. For a coverage logging switch I often use a reed relay and a magnet. Wear and weather tolerant.
Sometimes it is easier to use an inductive proximity sensor, still not more than some £10 or so.
