so, i have a couple of quotes for a Trimble GFX 750 with ezpilot and centerpoint that i plan to use for drilling.
There's a feature that i am looking for and i'm asking here before i'll talk to the dealer.
But first a little background info: i am currently working about 140 different fields and in some cases there is no visible edge between my field and the neighbor's, maybe just a wooden stake at the headlands and it can be hard to start drilling right on the edge. I can source the coordinates of most fields so i could create the fields and boundaries in the display.
The big question is this: can the display create a guidance line (would have to take into account the working width) that would allow me to start drilling in the right place respective to one of the field's edges of my choosing?
If this is not possible, is there a (free) software that would allow me to create the guidance line (ab or curve) manually 2 meters from the field's edge?
