Trimble launches the next step in precision ag at Cereals

Trimble Agriculture will be unveiling pioneering precision farming software at the Cereals Event, with the AutoSync feature – seamlessly transferring information between tractors and smart devices. CPM reports. AutoSync automatically syncs guidance lines, field names, boundaries, landmarks and operator information, giving real-time information across computers, phones and Trimble displays using the Precision-IQ field application. “It is a really exciting feature which will make farm management and record-keeping even easier,” explains Andrew Williams, product manager at Trimble dealer, Vantage England and Wales. “We are among the first in the UK to deploy this technology – and because Trimble is brand-agnostic, you can use its screens in any tractor make, across your entire fleet.” The new functionality automatically collects and manages data from in-field activities and syncs it via the cloud, reducing human error and eliminating the need to manually share data via USB, improving overall farm record integrity.
