We were using it until this spring. It works very well, but as with all the satellite only correction signals it doesn't cope well with over hanging trees and the like. It can take a frustrating amount of time to re converge. We did find the accuracy and repeatability acceptable though. Now moved to RTK and it is far more reliable around obstacles and re converges very quickly.

I'm on centre point Rtx. Was using rangepoint with a Claydon drill and it was fine, as the rows are 33cm bands a little bit out wasn't noticeable. As soon as I switched to the 750,rangepoints weaknesses showed up and any slightly wide joints ended up growing black grass, so I upgraded.
Rtk would be nice but another unlock code and the radio seem a very expensive capital outlay compared to a yearly subscription, all be it a more expensive subscription.

You can also get a three day demo for RangePoint from the Trimble website to see if its the right way for you ..... RP RTX has been working really well in a lot of cases but you have to appreciate that it does have its limitations ..... if you want the "easy life" approach then it has to be RTK.

What changed when you got the 750?

Band sowing a 7 inch band every 12 inches tended not to show up wide joints as obviously as a 1/2 inch slot every 7 inches. I know it shouldn’t make a difference but it is noticeable if you are 6 inches wide on 7 inch rows but not so much when sowing a band of slightly variable width.
