+1, some of the best views in nz are outside the shearing shed door at sunrise, you don't see that on the big green fudge bus.

Maybe so but you'll see some much more interesting things on the big green fudge bus than sheep and mountains.

I was there 2 years ago for 9 months. Just set up the bank account when you get there.
My advice is decide how long you are going to work for, add up roughly what money you will make in that time, then spend the rest of your time hooring around. Don't come back until you've spent most of that money. Then go to Oz and do the same thing. You're only young once

New Zealand is a beautiful place. You won't see the Rob Roy glacier or Milford sound or anything like that from a tractor cab. Anyway the whole point of travelling is to do things you wouldn't do at home, and connect with people you wouldn't have anything in common with if you met them on the street. I met doctors, engineers and nurses from america, Canada, Germany and loads of other places. I didn't talk about farming once. Drank beer and wine by the barrel. I had a fantastic time
OP expand your horizons. Youll be long enough looking at cows arses or at tractor bonnets
