We can now offer a repair service for Tru-test weigh bars, the only proviso is you must have an eziweigh 5 or later indicator.

Out of interest why does it have to be an eziweigh 5 or later, is it something to do with the cells?

Hi. The reason for ezi weigh 5 or later is that we can recalibrate to our cells no problem but the earlier versions ie ezi weigh 1 and 2
Are fixed to tru test cells.
However there is no reason we cant use our own weight display, other than this adds to the cost of the repair.
Hope this helps

Yes just curious, I've got trutest loadbars and eziweigh 1 and 4, does that mean it won't work on newer trutest bars as I've just applied for a grant and loadbars were on my list but was hoping to get away with the older reader.

Hi, can always take a look at the iconix ones for you, the problem is getting replacement cells, there non standard, and its devil's own job to make our ones fit, but sometimes all it might be is dodgey connector or cables that need replacing,
More than happy to have a look, no charge for looking

Hi are you still able to fix Tru-test weigh bars? If so roughly how much would it cost?
I’ve a 1000mm set with a 5i head and one bar is not working…
Thanks, Chris

Hi chris
Yes we can repair the weigh bars, depending on what the fault is, best case scenario its a faulty connector, supply and fit £48 , worse case replace loadcell , again supply and fit £225 for 1010 size, all plus p and p.
Regards Adam
