is see for the sale at thainstone on Saturday they want to take a £500 deposit to get a bidding number.
I am only thinking about maybe some troughs/gates etc.
Seems a bit excessive and likely to put off a whole load of their small item bidders, or am I getting the whole thing wrong?

The £500 deposit is only for ibidder.com online bidders, live bidders who are attending the sale will not be asked to give a deposit.
If nothing is bought online, the deposit will obviously be sent back automatically.

There are still facilities to view the Thainstone Saturday sale online, as a guest without being registered with the ibidder.com online system.

Let me know any other questions regarding this weekend Saturday Sale.
