Tuberculosis and the badger cull

I am currently writing a report on whether or not the badger cull is helping to minimise cases of bovine tuberculosis. i would like to find out how farmers have been affected by TB and their views on the badger cull. Any responses to my survey would be very much appreciated, thank you. https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/WD6JQF3

Questions appear to be a bit loaded......
looking at the two questions below I have to agree with you:banghead:

Question 3, why only 5+ times as maximum, if you are in the South West, and been unlucky, you could be well into double figures if you have been under restriction and testing every two months.

Question 4, well words fail me, it is just such a stupid question. How someone who is writing a report on the badger cull could know so little about what is going on.

It would be helpful to know what @isla kay is studying, hopefully not veterinary science, and what the report will be used for.

From the questionaire
3. How many times has Bovine Tuberculosis been present on your farm?
0
5+

4. Do you think the cull could cause badgers to spread out further. If so which of the following factors do you think could add to the problem?

Illegal hunts taking place
Legal shooting with retrieval dogs
Other animals
All of the above
None of the above

Question 4 is two questions. I don't agree with the first part, but had no way of showing my disagreement, other than leaving the answer blank. If we cull an area, surely those remaining will stay and others from around will actually move into the vacated area - it's not like badgers have news media telling them to move away, just a desire to live where there is setts and food.
