Will be a day of heavy showers which will turn increasingly wintry spreading southwards to all areas, bringing rain, sleet and hail to the south, while the north will see sleet or snow. A strong northerly wind will make it feel rather chilly everywhere. High 12C/54F falling later.

Overnight wintry showers will continual near north facing coasts rain, hail and snow icy roads. Inland a hard frost lows of -5C
