Turbine insurance

Trying to get the turbines insurance. They wont quote until you supply availability data for last 12 months and a report of work done at the refurbishment stage. They gave us a rough idea. A five fold increase on last year and that because we havent had a claim since the were commissioned 6 + years ago. Initially the insurance company asked for no paperwork reports spec

Allot of insurers have could have had there fingers burnt with claims there have been a good few plus manufactures have gone out of business making parts supply in some cases hard to get + service providers being taken over and service and repair cost increasing expediently but also allot of insurers have been selling policies that in point of fact would not cover you for any loss genuine loss and using every tactic in the book and then some to avoid having to accept a claim .

Im not sure who is in the market these days for cover but if CNC are keep well clear

I was thinking of getting a quote for only fire lightning and structural damage. I think I could take the rest on the chin
