TVT 170 problems

Been having some problems with our 170 this 3 or so months and cant get to bottom of it. It would throw up fmgr and eem and them eccu and all 4 spools knocked out. The codes make no sense to anyone. It goes into limp mode and is pretty much undrivable. You could sit for an hour waiting for it to go away and she'll go for another wile. In middle of summer it went for 2 weeks without doing it then all of a sudden went mad again. Any ideas?

Get your caseih dealer to plug it into laptop. There is more chance they will know what's wrong as more red ones were sold than blue.
If it's like our cvx 195 it will have stored all the errors. It tells the engineer what to look at to sort the problem.
Our tractor also flashes up an error code with the red led on the side of the tractor below all the switches for 4wd etc. read off the flashes and it will also tell the engineer what you need to look at.
I think that eccu is the hydraulic codes. Check the hydraulic oil and transmission oil levels.
Low levels cause the hydraulic oil to run hotter. The tractor will shut the spools off until they cool down. In my experience they usually come back on line one by one.
I think eem is the engine control. Check the fuel hoses aren't perished as they are bad for bursting and drawing air. The tractor goes into limp home to try and keep running.
Can't remember if fmgr or smgr is the codes for the transmission.

Once it heats up EEM starts flashing and also FMGR. When you bring up software there is NONE written beside EEM. When it cools down all is back to normal. I am almost sure that the EEM is the issue.

Yea your brain is likely the problem have u any error codes at all. Could you swap a brain to confirm the problem thats what we done it could save you an expensive mistake!
