Iv never sent cattle down to the plant in cornwall but I know many farmers that have before and after two sisters bought then out and none will send them down there anymore!! few reasons why but the grades have hit the floor and the same cattle can easily be £200/head less there than other plants even thou the deadweight price quoted is nigh on the same!!

Funnily we send our best cattle to Randell Parker for Celtic pride and any that aren't good enough go to St M in Merthyr. I'm pretty sure they are one grade better in St M every time. If Randell Parker weren't so close I'd be tempted to send them all to Merthyr.
