First time combining winter oats this year with our TX34 and wondering if there was any advice from others about tips, tricks and settings. Currently using the manual as a guide and some tips from one other person. Settings were currently going to use are 12mm top sieve, 4mm bottom sieve, 800rpm on the drum and 600rpm on the fan as a guide. Any help would be much appreciated.

Best setting is patience.

Oats take their own time to drop through the seives, bit like w barley with an awn stuck on the end. Lucky if you do 20 ac/day with a 34 IME anyway.
Luckily we've only got 19 acres this year! Bit of a trial to see how it goes as a break crop and given the current weather they're starting to go over and want them off quick! Thanks for the feedback (y)
