Was quoted £49k for a 2002 TX68 plus with 2400 drum hours a couple of weeks ago.
That was from main dealer, fully serviced ready to go.
That is about what we paid for a 2000 version in 2007,(for harvest 08), on a private sale! 24ft cut, not sure on hours. Not sure of value now but must be between £30,000 - £35,000ish. I do not know about equivalent models now though, CX?.

The modern equivalent of the TX68 (plus) is the CX6.80 or until recently the CX6080.
That is why NH use a 6 and an 8 in the numbers

Essentially, it’s an approx 25 tons/hour combine in wheat (28 with triple cascade grain pan, standard on the 6.80), fitted with either a 20, 22 or 25 foot header.

The TX68 was rated at about 22 to 25t/h.

The CX 6.90 (or 6090) has about 30hp more (330 instead of 300), using the Curser 9 engine instead of the NEF 6.7 engine. But apart from that they are identical. All are 6 straw walker combines.

That’s what it thought!
I see it’s sold now though so price must be in about there.

You never know what happens behind the scenes. I sometimes wonder whether dealers buy at trade price, advertise at retail for a while, and then if it doesn't sell they move it back on at trade price again. Can't really lose on that basis...and also allows them to justify the price of other machines they are selling. You can be pretty sure if you wanted to trade in a machine like that they'd probably only offer you half that price.

Have you taken any land out of production from last autumn?
