Tyre sizes

Hi.
I’ve got a new Holland t6.140. The front tyres are 440/65-28 and the rears are 420/85-38..
I could really do with a wider rear and also taller to get more height on the pick up hitch.
Can anyone tell me what the biggest size is I could go to on the back end?

They will have to be lower profile, 520/70/38 only leaves about 3" clearance.
How much more clearance do you want?:D

Pretty sure they will take 650’s........or 580’s or 20.8’s, all the same radius, they’ll certainly fit on the bigger ones and I’m pretty sure they’re all the same frame size.
Those sizes fitted on a TSA so they'll likely fit a T6.140, but on a TSA it made them too high geared and the pick up hitch wouldn't drop to the ground.
520/70r38 with 420/70r28 is as good a combination as you'll get on that size of tractor.

Thanks glass house but I don’t think I’ll have enough room in the wheel arches!

Fronts are virtually brand new so dont really want to change them.
Would I get away with 600/65-38 part worn?

Not without changing the fronts!
600/60 r38 would work
I know it sounds daft but sell the bloody fronts then go up a size all round. 2+2 is always 4, no matter how much you want it to be 5.
