I wonder if he’s pre-empting the farmers rebellion?

And no, I can’t see what difference he wil make. But I’m glad he’s said something, will be interesting to see how policing alters.

well you can include Starmer in the "they" as unsurprisingly he agrees with Sunak. Remarkable times when the government and shadow cabinet actively support a genocide against the 70% plus of the population who express the wish for a permanent ceasefire and yet those who peacefully protest in line with the majority are a threat to democracy😣

So most folk vote for self serving little sh1ts.
could I ask who you voted for in the last GE ? and do you consider them a self serving little sh1t ? and if so why did you vote for them ?
Of course whilst Fishi was voted in as an MP the electorate had no vote on him to be PM. Personally I voted LD in a constituency where they are most likely, although very unlikely, to unseat our incumbent self servative. Talking of self serving sh1ts, ours is Nadhim warmhorse tax avoiding Zahawi.

Be a good job to get shot of him, perhaps he would have to stop heating the stables

No PM in this country has ever been voted for.

Whilst technically correct, most were voted in as leader of the party at an election, some of the poorest imo have been voted in during the tenure of the party in power.
Looking back many a party voted in mid term PM have been poor generally. Wonder what Maggie would make of the current situation?? Think her handbag would have required reinforcement with all the bashing she may have done had she still been here now.

Most people vote for a party they like or at least dislike less than the other options, some swing voters may vote for the policies that the current leader promotes but how many of those policies are purely the leaders, some leaders are very charismatic but they don't always make good PM's or presidents. Quite frankly I'm not sure I will bother to vote this time, I can't see one party that is prepared to take the hard decisions we need
