UK Dairy Day

Hopefully I will go, there were many who commented that it was better than the dairy event last year, a comment I heard not only on here but from farmers and exhibitors too. A bit much to say it's better than the dairy event in my opinion but if exhibitors say they did more business there who am I to disagree.

BTW parking was an absolute shambles last year, spent in the region of an hour queuing within sight of the venue before getting parked up.

Totally agree, parking was a nightmare! Much prefer the Livestock event at the NEC.

The few stands upstairs were very quiet too, almost missed them so hope the signage is better next week.

I'm planning on going again.

Prefer the Livestock Event tbh but was unable to attend this year.

Parking was a shambles/amateur last year - sort it out or I won't be back again!

To be honest, and I've said this before, I hate the dairy event at the NEC and I and many I speak to believe it's going down hill, stands were very spaced out there this year and trade stands questioning why they attend.
But Telford certainly isn't the right venue to stage an alternative, it's not big enough and did I mention the parking?

Why not Stafford show ground then if it's to be that direction?

As an attendee I like the ease of the NEC however I am aware that the costs for the exhibitors are extreme and the hospitality issues.

We've shown cows at the Livestock Event until 2013 and at Dairy Day last year and I won't be returning to Telford anytime soon. The facilities for exhibitors at Telford are non existent as they assume everybody will be staying in the on site Hotel!! So that, the ludicrous situation of it taking longer to queue to load up than it took to get home again, not to mention the questionable practices blatantly on show by some of the pro fitters ensure the NEC gets our vote!

I went last year, parked very easily in the multi story right next door that was free to park in. Great show all the main stands that you want to see unlike the nec. Got given a 50l trial of teat dip! Going again this year.
