It would seem the EU has some worries and reforms to make, what is your take, while it’s not a uk issue, our government do still take initiatives the EU use even if they get a UK spin. And sometimes the revers may be true.

I doubt Ukraine would have equal footing in the EU. The US banks have flooded it with investment on the prospect of getting a return on their mineral/agricultural exports. That would indirectly put the EU in hock to the States which Brussels and Strasbourg would be unlikely to want.

If it does get in, then the EU CAP will just go 100% green and put it and us here in the UK on a more level pegging. Whether we'll get EU trading arrangements of agri-products like before 2016 is another matter.
