Umbilical pipe fittings

At the moment on the slurry pipe we use the clamps that you tighten with a bolt, but they are mild steel and are starting to rot and break. Thinking of changing to the stainless band type that you tighten then bend the end over, but what are they called and where is the best place to buy one and 4" bauer style pipe couplings

Bought mine off eBay,make sure you use the high grade of stainless band as the soft stuff isn’t up to the job.

I got mine from granit parts one thing to remember when using them is double the banding up around the pipe and put 3 bands on each fitting

Personally I would not use that system have in the past but storz couplings are so much easier

yes but horrible stuff to use!!
Be warned!!
just easier to change bolt on clamps. Or go to storz.

If you want to band it use 3/4" banding

They look right but they could be copy's like the kramp ones which do a job but are not genuine ones

You must use the right width of band it according to the ridges on the fitting.
