unibor magdrill

hi folks, ive got a unibor magdrill and when you pick it up the drilling part of the drill winds its self down with gravity , then your drill bit is in the way for clamping on to your next piece to drill , meaning that you have to wind the drill back up before clamping on to work , any ideas on how tighten the rack on the drill , i have had a look and don't see any thing obvious . thanks quavers

Isn't there usually a clock spring in the quill handle

thanks , got sorted , there is a line of nuts which you hold and adjust with a small alan key , easy when you know how , found it on the unibor site .
