Afternoon all,

We need to do some updates to the forum. I'm proposing to start this work just after 9am tomorrow (21/04/2016) and it should be done by around 10am.

There's a chance you'll see some cows during this time :) If you continue to see cows ( instead of the forum) please try clearing your cache & cookies.

Thank you,

The TFF Team

As someone who could never see the point of the app and has always used TFF Responsive on my phone and tablet what was I missing out on when the app was working properly? Genuine question not a wind up.:scratchhead:

Usability. Decent sized text. Not having to endlessly scroll back up to the top of the page. Not accidentally hitting the wrong button and ending up somewhere you don't want to be because your fingers are bigger than a child's. Notifications that pop up rather than emails. It is just better. And no ads.

Don't get ads on phone (not enough room). Alerts show at the top of the page with a browser. Don't know what other phones are like but on iPhone just touch the top of the screen and you will be taken to the top without scrolling.
OK, how do I go responsive on my phone and what difference does it make,
There is a button in bottom left corner. Responsive optimises the web page for mobile devices and gets rid of the ads.

has it been sorted how to get pictures back on so I can view them when using app
TFF didn't build the app. It is a stand alone product for accessing forums and individual forums can just "dress it" in their own style to give it an identity but they can not change the way it works. Much as you can sign write your van but not change how they build it. This forum can not control when or how they update it.
(Is that a fair summation @alan01252 )

You could try 'TFF Responsive' which TFF does control and no one is having problems with.

Can't see either
In honour of @Forage Trader I've loaded the app on a Galaxy running Android, and no I can't see any pictures because as we all know the app is fecked.
At the top right hand corner there are the three magic dots which when pressed give me the option of "Web view" which cures all the problems by taking me out of the app and into the land of the living.

Via the app - and it's horrible and I can't see why anyone would dream of using it.
