Used machinery warranty

Was just wondering if there is such a thing as a company who you can buy warranty from for used tractors. I've heard of companies who cover used cars, then if anything happens to go wrong you can take it to a repairer of your choice in the warranty coverage. Although this may be provided by the selling said car dealer.
I thought it would be useful to have something like this in place, if for instance buying a used tractor from a dealer at the other end of the country, as not sure how you stand when buying a used tractor which might have unknown problems that crop up when put to work within the first few weeks of new ownership

I’m fairly sure CNH offer this via a third party.

I would be very wary if there was such a thing because you might think you are covered that is until you make a claim then for some reason the warranty company might agree to pay only a certain percentage or could reject the claim completely and walk away leaving your tractor in a pile of bits in some main dealership workshop.... there is a local reputable car dealer whose name has been mentioned on this site supply their own warranty and would not entertain outside warranty firms at all

Had issues with a tractor we bought last Christmas (2017)
Rang dealer and he said no problem will pick iy up and sort it
Got a call a week later to say the turbo was worn, and the fitter recommended it be replaced at a cost of £1400 ( he was doing head gasket so turbo was already off)
Told him to go ahead
When I picked tractor up, he said that he had managed to get the turbo through the warranty as well, so no charge.
This was an aftermarket insurance warranty, on a 10 year old tractor, which I am sure I paid for in the price of the tractor.
So yes there are products out there
No idea who the company was, and not prepared to give the name of the dealer
