Vaccine in (off) fridge

I found the fridge door wasn't shut properly yesterday morning so the Lambivac I am planning on using today was not chilled for about 8 hours - the temp was showing 16 degrees. Chuck or will it be OK (unopened)?

I was asking a distributor about how strict the temperature range and he said its not overly and should be okay if kept a few degrees over the range for awhile

considering your using it today, get on with it, I would say, the fridge might be 16 now (vaccine could still be under 10), but might have only been at 8 up to 4 hrs ago. Anyday you go vaccinating say a 50 vial, it could take up to 2 hrs before you come to the end of it, and if you warm the vaccine to 35c before you start. just get on with it asap

What kind of vaccine is lambivac? I havent hears of that one. My vet told me you can get away with more with killed vaccine but live ones are more delicate. Apparently wuth heptovac p the clostridial part will be fine after quite a long time but the pasturella part wont be. Did the vaccine still feel cold? It might be fine is pribably use it dad is hopeless at putting things in the fridge but we have never had a problem with vaccines not working.

Was the 16C the air temp or the fridge temp ? Presumably the fridge was still cooling with the door ajar, so the vaccine would be less than ambient temp.
I'd be tempted to use it today unless you can get to your agri merchants before they close for Sat afternoon.
