Vaderstad 600f help

Simply put! Metering / land wheel worn out on my vaddy 600f, worried it’s going to let me down when I need it!
Just found out they are best part of £700 quid brand new.
Looking for the experienced vaddy user for some advise on what others have done, or even if someone had a slightly used one on the shelf........ all help gratefully received!

What’s worn out mean? Take it to a fabricator and let them strengthen it, probably better than a new one?

The fingers have worn which I could add to myself, but the actual ring itself is very thin. Beef up job at the local engineers would be an option. Thanks

Just weld new bits on it ! Done the wheel on my 400P twice now. No issues.

Mine has had between the spokes plated in and new fingers added. That strengthens the ring too if you see what I mean.

Plating stripes just on the inside of the ring between each spoke and adding fingers looks the plan so far. Thanks
