Has anyone experience of this yet, is it worth it, can you do Variable rate seed with it? It costs £2000 more than blockage sensors and does the same job plus a bit more?

Much more precision from what I gather over alternatives. Can pretty much calibrate your drill by using the seed eye technology counting seeds per m as opposed to weighing kg/ha. Very expensive though.

The boss ordered a new one for this year with it on but it's turned up without it! - it's getting fitted later this year so maybe it wasn't 100% yet will let you know more when its on and working

I have always wondered why these drills dont have weigh cells like a fert spreader? If you know the tgw set your kg/ha and away you go, I hate calibrating them and wondering if its running right all the way across. Doesnt help blockage I know

Nice idea, but how does the operator know this is working correctly? I guess some kind of manual calibration would still be necessary? Also I would worry that slugs would drive a coach and horses through my investment. Perhaps I'm just a luddite but I'd let someone else have a go first especially if it can be retro fitted.

I think there are weigh cells in the Great Plains/Simba centurion. Dont know anybody who has one though.
