Well I thought I was going to buy a Valtra but I’m fed up of chasing the original dealer tried another this morning who can’t be bothered to ring back.
Pity I realy liked the tractor and was going to buy.
In my experience if they can’t be bothered to sell it in the first place no hope of getting any service after.
Back to drawing board I guess. Fendt JD or MF

shame you weren't further north dealers up here in Northumberland are fantastic...

I’ve been to three dealers first offered stupid money for my trade in.
Next who I have chased for three days just can’t be bothered to call back.
Third hasn’t bothered to call back in an hour as he promised.
Fed up now. Time to move on to next brand. Shame.

I wouldn't give up just yet , dealers at the minute are flat out , I was in my dealers two days ago and it was panic , with new machines going out , breakdowns and service , probably the busiest week of the year.

In despair after reading that post.
What is wrong with people these days?
I would give number 3 a bit more time though.

Move on, and be thankful that you found out in time.... If they can't be bothered to respond to a genuine sales enquiry, can you imagine how responsive they'll be when you need something repaired... Any tractor is only as good as the people who stand behind it, and here again is where JD excel......

You can count on one hand the number of Valtras working in Ireland, and yet the dealer is in a panic as soon as the weather takes up and tractors start to work..... I don't know how they'd cope if they were trying to service a mainstream brand, with huge numbers of tractors working flat out.....

Now small brain Mike , you must have a very big hand , the dealer I deal with has over 1000 valtras out working between tractors he sold new and good as new secondhands that he imported.
