Valtra help needed.

We had a customer bring us a Valtra T163 today with no hydraulic functions to include no steering or drive.
Originally thought that perhaps the damper plate had gone but after removing the starter and having a quick look with a camera all looks good.
We have also dropped the prop and taken the foam spacer out under the diesel tank and can see the input shaft turning when turning the engine by hand , haven't tried it with engine running.
When the engine is started the steering works for a split second then nothing as if the pump is driven by oil drag .
Where going to remove cab floor in the morning to check drive shaft through fuel tank or are we barking up the wrong tree all together.

If it's the same as a T160 and memory serves me right the Hyd pump was driven through a long shaft right the way through the transmission. Pump could be accessed by removing rear PTO housing.
Drive coupler/teeth on shaft split/stripped?

Drive shaft doesn't go through diesel tank on 163

This is my thoughts.
Would like to rule out the damper first before delving in the back

Sounds like it is shaft between flywheel and pumps at back of tractor (somewhere) start at front work backwards or vice versa not a common problem

You needn't bother lifting the cab floor as you won't see anything there , I'd be phoning a valtra mechanic for advice or you could lose a lot of time splitting it and it might not need splitting , the hydraulic pump goes in from the back behind the pto pack.
