I’m wondering if there is a switch for economy pto on my valtra t132 I’ve got a lever to change from 540 to 1000 but nothing about eco?

If it doesn't say 540e or 1000e on the lever there is no eco gear and IIRC these older Valtras only had 2 PTO gears in total so if you specced them with eco you lost normal speed..
Correct.
From 4th Generation onwards, models can be specified with 3 PTO speeds (chosen from 540/540e/1000/1000e and Ground Speed PTO).
