I looked for years for a second hand jd 6430 50k loader tractor. They were all either too dear or millions of hours on them or both. My mate bought one paid in the high 30’s for it at the time and it blew up not long after creating a five figure bill. You never know. I ended up with a Valtra n113 hitec 5 50k
6430 50k here. Blew turbo at 6000hrs, filings in engine, £12k repair bill. Told by mechanic very common in that series at those hours. On the bright side he said should be good for next 6000hrs but get rid before it gets that close.
 
Why not put a new turbo on again at 11500hrs
I think it’s a variable vein turbo that is less reliable than the basic type. Some have taken that lot off and put a basic turbo on with a different manifold can’t remember if it’s the intake or exhaust or both. It costs a small few thousand to change with various re program or deleting
