value of water for spuds

Been approached by local spud grower who wants to irrigate his 40 acre crop from our reservoir.
Would any one know what it would be worth ?

Would any one know what it would be worth ?

Just for water on it’s own the going rate is £25/acre/inch and then they pay the annual irrigation license cost on top of that.

I charge £40 per acre inch for crops on my own land... assuming my equipment, labour, water.
Charge that plus at least £100 per acre for someone else's.
Probably too cheap at that given value added
