valve guides a common problem?

Our Claas Arion is in the tractor docs atm, been blowing copious quantities of blue smoke on occasion and using roughly 1 litre oil/ 10hrs.
Now I know there is plenty been said on egr valves/ head gaskets on the deere motor, but in this case it seems one of the valve guides has attached itself to the valve and out of its housing, has anyone else heard of any more cases of this?

Btw it seems Claas have an uprated head gasket available for the 6cyl Deere engine for those who may need one in the future.
They are also using stronger head bolts in both the 4 and 6 cyl engines to increase the clamping force on the gasket.

how them come 6910s had nae bother is it no the same engine or do deere build cheep shyte fer them?

The deere's have had this problem as well . They are also using the stronger head bolts too
Not sure if it is the same engine block though. 6910 unstressed block,claas i think is the stressed one. Don,t go away with the idea 6910's did'nt have issues, quite a few had cylinder head gaskets,needed the head skimming.
