I double triple checked before drilling mine as I’m keeping it back for seed.
That's why I panicked when I read Hampton's post, I've a trailer of it sitting for seed and thought I'd fecked up. Checked the RL and couldn't see anything about it being a hybrid either👍

That's what I thought but reading @Hampton post It seems like he said it was.
No, I just wrote it badly.
I think what I meant was either tardis (2 row), one of the hybrids, or the 6 row with bydv tolerance.
But I wrote that a year ago, so can’t remember

it reads in the original post that tardis was a two row. Hybrids aren’t two rows, therefore tardis isn’t a hybrid

I’m going again with mostly over yeared home saved Crispin. I’m satisfied with 3t per acre in a crap year like this on rubbish land and it’s met bushelweight.
My agronomist reckoned he had not seen anything better on this sort of land this year, particularly head length. If I’d made a proper job of it rather than a half arsed DD attempt we’d probably have been looking at 5t per acre.

Got once round the headland last night in first field of Typhoon before rain came in. Seemed to yield well but it's sprouted very badly in the ears wherever laid compared to Graham.

No use for fss as planned. Going to try some Oxford and maybe tapestry if i can get hold of it this year

Any thoughts on seed dressing for fss winter barley? Any dressings help with rooting or do you think they are a gimmick?
I've WB to go into some heavy coastal ground and wouldn't mind it getting up and established quick.
