A simple question - Can I reclaim the VAT on a new logsplitter? Also can I put it through the books a business expense as it is only for our own domestic use.

How’s that lovely cat ?I did with mine as part of my business is selling firewood. Not very profitable unfortunately, in fact to date I have yet to find any customers.
Haven’t seen it in some time. It was never my cat it just adopted me for a while, I’ve moved since and there’s one here too. I don’t think it’s the same one but might be.How’s that lovely cat ?

Not really. The dealer who is trying to sell me one said that I could but I didn't think that was right hence my asking. The proper answer is no. Wish you didn’t ask now eh?
That's what I thought, but I had to ask just in case it wasn't.Why should you? Isn’t that tax avoidance?
I don't think it's worth the aggro.Really depends on how Forensic your accountant is. Don't mention it if not asked.
