Vegans in Sheffield

I don't know how to share the link, but if your are on faceache and look up the Sheffield Star newspaper. They reported about a group of extremist vegans shouting and hoohaing at some butchers stalls in the market. If you read the comments it's good to see that a good 95% of the folks are steadfast meat eaters and told the vegan posters to royally get the f*** outta here!!

The vegans are noisy, annoying and slightly deranged, but they will never take over.

Only 5% of the population are veggie/vegan.

Do you think people such as this will ever stop eating meat?

I do belive there were 200000 tickets,
Possibly, but I believe that there were 135,000 on general sale, so with local freebies, comps, volunteers & staff etc it may well be 200,000 total - either way significantly less than suggested above!

Sober figures suggest more like 1.5%, very few are totally committed.
There's also nothing to suggest that vegans & vegetarians are any more likely to be attending than any other types.
