What experiences have people had of standard Rani wrap? I've never seen it for sale, never mind used it. Wouldn't want to solve one problem and create another

Saw this at Lamma, IIRC they just add a bit of eucalyptus into the top layer.

We used to have Raniwrap years ago, I’m sticking with our current supplier for this year. If it’s any good all the major manufacturers will be doing it in a couple of years.

Raniwrap was very good stuff when I last used it.
Same suppliers as Piippo twine, the best string I ever had, but they only imported it for a brief period.

I hope it works but you'd have to be a bit sceptical.

From the sales blurb........
  • Efficiency of repellent proven in various field tests
  • Non-toxic, does not harm the animals.
  • Repulsive effect is achieved through odour and taste.
  • Award-winning
  • Full repellent efficiency up to 24 months from production date
If they can taste it, then surely they've already chomped a hole in it :scratchhead:
I wonder how much extra it costs.
