Vicon 03,04, series Adjusting block.

The top one is the only one that is adjustable for spread width, the others are fixed width, I suppose they might be adjustable by turning and replacing the fixture, the parts description is misleading.

Only ever owned and used an 02 series spreader myself. But believed that the arc of the later ones was adjustable. Just checked on Vicon parts and yes adjustable, there is a different tool ,dependant on the seriesc

Had an early 02, it was adjustable with that tool, then the first of 03 series, not adjustable, it destroyed itself couple of years ago, luckily had an 04 that was recovered from a neighbours hedge with that aluminium bearing housing gone, had to cut the 03,s flywheel to recover the bearing housing to get going, didn't know there was two different diameter of housings, need to measure mine.

Have a look again @dunkie , the adjustment tool in the pic above is competitively different to the 02 series one.

Aye, it is, I think from memory it was a brown plastic cage type thing. What type did your one need?
