Vicon 503 adjustment query

Have a Vicon 503 wagtail, in nice condition. But prilled Nitram is leaking into the spout even when the holes are shut off. I think it is because of wear between either the top plate with three holes in, or the sliding pate which blocks the holes off. Can these be adjusted at all, or just replace. I have been told its most likely the top fixed plate as the sliding one is stainless steel?

Is there not a plastic spacer plate between them held by three m5 stainless steel bolts? You will need the spout off to check

Nitram seems to find its way through spreaders like water would. Keep on the move or turn the pto off

Thanks. That’s the problem, if I turn the pto off, when I turn it on again I get a huge outpouring of nitram out the spout!

Sorted now, the top plate had rusted very badly and there was a build up between that and the stainless steel plate beneath. New top plate and new plastic spacer sorted it
