New one of these this year anything I should look out for that can catch you out, it's a fixed chamber.

Haven't got any experience with the fixed chamber balers , ours is variable chamber .. keep her full n she bales well apart from basic maintenance that's all I can tell you so far ...

fixed chamber baler uses rollers opposed to belts on the variable baler. the variable baler can make bales any size between its min and max setting where as the fixed chamber is restricted in its bale size

Have you got optimum speed you bale at as I'm very much undecided at the moment as the hay fields we've got were organic since 95 . They aren't now but crop is very light in places and thick in others

It's crop and row dependant as to what forward speed is , I would imagine in an lighter crop you will be somewhere in the mid teens with your forward speed
