VoIP phone service

I have an account with draytel.
http://www.draytel.org/
I have a draytek router and it had a voucher in the box to setup an account. So I did.
The router itself does all the work, phone plugs straight into it, so I have no knowledge of running it via a pc.
Still have a landline, but the voip service seems to work very well.

I have just moved my business from BT (after a £500 / quarter bill) to voipfone.co.uk. All seems good so far.
We did find initially that the service struggled with a 2 mbps internet connection but now the fibre is up and running it's perfect.

What I like about voipfone is that you can start with a basic service and add options as you need them, also there is no contract.

Just to add you need to be a bit tech savvy to set things up via a web browser onto your chosen new VOIP Phone that you have to buy
I got a SNOM Deskphone for the office & new GIGASET cordless handsets for the rest of the house.

No Monthly LINE Rental
No contract
Zero Monthly cost if you never make a call as its FREE to receive them
Very cheap calls if you just buy call credit or you can switch to various monthly call deals which look good for little money.
Cost me less than £9 for 4months of this service in calls so far.

via sipgate it was £20 but they take £30 as you need to have calling credit to get you going i think
It does tell you on there website
You have to make sure by asking BT first that you can 100% take your number mind otherwise you will loose your £20

@eulb you still using Yay.com ?,.........going ok ?

:LOL: How did you know I've just given up with them?

For some reason it was very selective when in worked I had an app or something that the software conflicted with on my phone.

If I wasn't so tight and bought a proper voip phone I'm sure it would have worked fine.
